The bodies of two remaining victims of a boat accident in Kula Kingdom, Akuku-Toru LGA of Rivers State, have been recovered four days after the incident.

The victims were identified as Davies Opiri, secretary of the Kula Community Development Committee, and David Sukubo, younger brother of the NYCN president.

Seven people died, and eight were rescued after a speedboat carrying 15 people capsized on Tuesday during an operation involving the Anambra Basin vessel, operated by an Ibeto Group subsidiary.

Community leader Sukubo Sara-Igbe Sukubo alleged the incident was deliberate murder and announced a 21-day protest with 51,000 youths. Max Shipping Services denied linking its chairman, Cletus Ibeto, to the incident.
