A young man who was said to be a serial burglar has been arrested by men of the Kano State Police Command after he broke into eleven shops and carted away 106 phones, nine laptops, the sum of N115,940, among other items..…CONTINUE READING>>>>>

The thief, whose name was given as Ibrahim Adamu, was arrested following various complaints by the coordinators of Dansulakia GSM Market in the Farm Centre area of Kano City.

The man and the items said to have been recovered from him, as posted by the state police command on Tuesday.

It was gathered that the young man broke into the shops through the roofs and ceilings on a number of times and carted away the said items.

Following the report of the complaints, the police operatives were said to have begun discreet Investigation which led to the arrest of Adamu.

According to a statement by the state police command through its Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Kiyawa and posted on the Facebook wall of the command on Tuesday, during interrogation, he was said to have told policemen that he singlehandedly carried out the theft.

He also led police operatives to his hideout where 106 phones, nine laptops, nine ATM cards, phone accessories, the sum of N115,940, among others, were said to have been recovered from him.

The statement added that he would be charged to court at the conclusion of the Investigation.…CONTINUE READING>>>>>
