Nasarawa State Governorship Election Petitions (PDP) Audience hold prayer as tribunal rules today-Abdullahi Sule

Ahead of today’s judgment of the Nasarawa State Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal, a large number of women from across the 13 local government areas of the state on Sunday held a prayer rally in support of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr David Ombugadu, who is challenging the victory of Governor Abdullahi Sule of the All Progressives Congress in the March 18 governorship election.….CONTINUE READING>>>>>

The women, dressed in black attire with placards in their hands, sang emotional songs in Hausa language, saying they were tired of the Sule-led APC government in the state.

Speaking at the PDP secretariat in Lafia on Sunday, a leader of the Nasarawa Coalition for Justice, Hanatu John, said the rally was to pray to God to grant the PDP candidate, Ombugadu, a favourable judgment at the tribunal.

John said, “All residents of the state, including members of the All Progressives Congress, are aware that the PDP candidate, Dr David Ombugadu, won the March 18, 2023 election, not the incumbent governor, Abdullahi Sule, as announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

“These women you see here are over 1,000 in number. They voluntarily came from all parts of the state to pray for our governorship candidate because they are tired of the APC-led government.
