Arsenal midfielder, Thomas Partey, will not be available for selection when they face Manchester United on Sunday.
Partey picked up a groin injury during training this week ahead of the match.
Mikel Arteta will now be forced to shake up his starting XI for the clash.
Partey has also not been called up to Ghana’s squad ahead of the upcoming international break.
The Ghanaian Football Association claim that they have been informed by Arsenal that the midfielder will be sidelined ‘for a while’.
A statement released by the Ghanaian FA on Saturday read: ‘Arsenal ace Thomas Partey is left out of the squad due to injury.
‘According to his club, the player picked up an injury in training and could be on the sidelines for a while, however the Black Stars medical teams is monitoring the situation.’
