Businessman Almubee gifts Mohbad’s wife N2 million and offers a scholarship to their son to University level

Nigerian businessman and Chairman of Almubee Group, has gifted the late promising singer, Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi N2 million.

The news was made known on Instagram with a screenshot of the debit alert. From the date on the screenshot, the businessman had sent her the money on Thursday, September 14th, 2023.

To add to it, the businessman has promised to sponsor their 5-month-old son to the University level.

Recall that hours after his death, his wife and the mother of his child had cried out over the responsibility of taking care of their child alone.

In a series of posts on her Instagram page, the mother of one pondered on where she would start from as she noted how the responsibilities of two have become one.

At his burial ground, his family members angered Nigerians as they were captured plotting how to collect his properties from his wife.

As many try to figure out the actual cause of the singer’s death, a video of him and his wife, whom he has been dating for over a decade, hit the internet, pointing accusing fingers at her.

In the audio, the two were arguing and Mohbad accused her of plotting to kill him.

He slammed her for acting and pretending like she was sick in a bid to get information from him through his WhatsApp, which he claimed she wanted to use after his death. The singer went on to lay more accusations on her.
