In a post recently shared on her Official Instagram Page, Wunmi revealed that they silenced her late husband by spreading rumours that he was on drugs and now they are targeting her by releasing a voice note she recorded few years ago for medical purposes.
She stated that her late husband, Mohbad was messed up mentally, psychologically and mentally when he was still alive as a result of the threats and assault he was facing from his former record label, and that if he had continued speaking publicly about his challenges, he would probably still be alive today.
Wunmi further stressed that the last time they attacked Mohbad, she begged him to speak out but he felt powerless against the influence of the industry gods.

“They silenced my husband by spreading rumours that he was on drugs and now, they have been targeting me by releasing a voice note I recorded few years ago for medical purposes. My husband was messed up mentally, psychologically and physically, if he had continued speaking publicly about his challenges, perhaps, he would still be alive today. I wish he had summoned the courage to come publicly as many times as he could, but he didn’t want anyone to see his vulnerability, he was a gentle and calm soul”.
