According to Vanguard, President Tinubu made this announcement during a meeting with the players and officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.
The delegation was led by the Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh.
The Super Eagles had an impressive performance in the recently concluded Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), where they emerged as runners-up. To show appreciation for their efforts, President Tinubu decided to recognize their achievements by bestowing them with these rewards.
