Bashir Ahmad stated on his verified Twitter page; “A commendable initiative by the Nigeria Customs Service as they launched the nationwide auction of confiscated food items, selling a 25kg bag of rice for N10,000 only.”
He stated further; “It is hoped that measures will be implemented to prevent individuals driven by greed from purchasing the items only to resell them at higher prices.”
