When told state Governors who thanked President Tinubu for their Supreme court victory may be validating the argument that our President is all powerful?

He said in an interview with Adesuwa Giwa-Osagie on Untold Stories: “I think it is those Governors to whom you are referred who should be in the best position to explain why they are thanking the president for a judgement given by an independent arm of government, a judiciary. I was Governor, I faced election petitions, my election petitions were resolved in my favour and I did not thank President Umaru Yar’Adua for that determination.

And indeed, thanking the Supreme court is just perhaps even stating the obvious. That is their job, to do justice as they see it and understand it.

So it speaks to something in my view about how they understand the mechanics of governance and the constitution, but I understand it differently and so I play it differently.
