The businessman who made such revelation through his official Instagram account, reacted to professor Usman Yusuf’s statement that he does not know why the Igbos are quiet over the economic hardship but president Bola Ahmed Tinubu should find out why.
According to Kanayo O Kanayo, the Igbos are silent over such matter because they have learnt a lot from Nigeria, adding that they are always the target whenever they involve themselves in such issues.
Speaking further, Kanayo O Kanayo revealed that;
“No tribe can withstand what Igbos went through during the war. I used to tell my Igbo brothers what the Igbos went through during the war. I need to tell you my own story, I ate lizards during the war because there were no chickens anywhere. If we see one lizard, we chase the lizard 3 or 4 kilometers and catch it and it was good meat.”
