He pointed out the stark contrast in caseloads, noting that a regular judge might handle around 150 cases, while a judge in the Customary Court of Appeal managed a significantly smaller caseload of about 10 to 15 cases, yet received comparable compensation.

He said in an interview with Channels TV, ”I remember when we were in government, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole tried to remove the customary court of appeal in Edo state. It was because they don’t have a responsibility and the payment acquitted to them is massive.
