Among the standout players featured in the Starting XI were three Nigerians—Captain William Troost-Ekong, Ola Aina, and winger Ademola Lookman. Troost-Ekong, the 30-year-old captain, contributed three goals to the competition and earned the prestigious Player of the Tournament award. Aina’s consistent performance, starting all seven matches for Nigeria, earned him a well-deserved spot in the lineup.
