EPL: Meet the Only Unstoppable Player That Has Created More Chances Than Arsenal’s Odegaard So Far This February

This iconic player is Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United. Coincidentally, this Portuguese midfielder is also a captain like Ødegaard. The Portugal international has taken credit for 17 key passes in 4 EPL matches so far this month. He started on February 1 when he created 4 chances against Wolves at the Molineux Stadium. Unfortunately, these efforts did not result in goal. Three were blasted off target by Casemiro and Dalot while one was blocked.

In his next game, Fernandes made 3 key passes. Two of them went to Diogo Dalot while wasted both while one was kicked wide by Marcus Rashford. However, the Portuguese captain successfully set up Alejandro Garnacho to get a goal and secure a 3-0 win for the Red Devils. His best outing in this regard came on February 11 when the Erik ten Hag boys visited Aston Villa. The 2019/20 UEFA Europa League golden boot winner created 8 chances against the Villans. Unfortunately, none of them ended in goal. However, United were still able to grind out a 2-1 win.

His most recent encounter was on February 18. He set Alejandro Garnacho up for two attempts. However, the first was saved by Luton goalkeeper while the other went off target. Meanwhile, the Captain made twice attempts of his own in the match but did not score.

As for Ødegaard, his 13 chances have come in 3 games. He created 3 against Liverpool in his first game of the month. The he followed with 7 versus West Ham before making another 3 in the clash with Burnley.
